What We Do

Resonance Extra is a UK-based broadcast platform devoted to transmission arts, audio arts and experimental music. The aim is to develop new innovative new sound works and cultivate international audiences for those works; and in doing so promote cultural exchange which transcends borders and contributes to the ongoing and inevitable expansion of the community broadcast sector.

Who We Are

Resonance Extra is a project launched in December 2015 by London Musicians’ Collective Limited, registered charity 290236, which operates Resonance FM, London’s leading community broadcaster for the creative arts, established in 2001. Resonance FM is a National Portfolio Organisation funded by Arts Council England and the generous donations of its listeners.

How To Listen

Listen online at extra.resonance.fm or via TuneIn and Radioplayer. We are licensed by the UK Government’s Office of Communications, Ofcom, to broadcast on DAB Digital Radio in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas, though you may need to re-scan your radio to pick us up. We are fully licensed to broadcast live and recorded music by the PRS and PPL collections agencies respectively.
